Influx of new clients sign-up to join the BA Group Action

There has been an influx of new clients signing up to join the BA Group Action following the big hearing that took place on 4^th October 2019.

News that Mr Justice Warby has given the green light for the GLO (Group Litigation Order) to proceed garnered a great deal of media attention, with Director Aman Johal giving his insight into the developments.

Deadline to join

The hearing also confirmed that the deadline to join the BA Group Action is looking to be set for January 2021.

This is a big improvement on the time frame that the lawyers for British Airways had originally desired, which would have been just 17 weeks. We warned that this could lead to hundreds of thousands of people missing out on the chance to claim the compensation that they deserve.
